Lots of people didn’t know that I now have a PO Box in Costa Rica. Some did, but didn’t know what to send. Well then, I can offer up some ideas. Being here in the States, standing in line at Walmart and Whole foods, conveniently brought some ideas to mind. It can never hurt to ask, right?
But, in all seriousness, it really would be great to just get a nice note or a card in the mail. Paul G sent me my first one a while back…so funny and appropriate…
on the front: two ladies walking the beach, bikini tops on and flips flops hanging out of their butts. The caption reads: and you said they wouldn’t notice our thongs.
Inside: just a little note to “crack” you up.”
Haaaaaaaaa, I laughed on the bus all the way home and wasn’t even bothered by the smelly Tico breathing on me in the next seat!
So, in case you’re interested:
Gum (the chicklet kind in an aluminum pop-out package so it doesn’t melt all over itself and me)
Non perishable snacks or food of any kind (Skittles, Dark Chocolate, Nuts, Dried cranberries, Chocolate Calcium Bites found at Whole Foods, Cookies, Soup packages, Crystal Light, Cereal, Sugar Free Vanilla Pudding mix, really love this one - Yum)
Oil of Olay or CVS Brand Oil of Olay face cream
Magazines (would love some smut – People, OK, InTouch)
Trial size stuff - Mouthwash, toothpaste, deoderant, bandaids, shaving cream
Tampons (this is definitely TMI, but would love to get Tampax Brand, Plastic app, Regular)
Chapsitck and/or lip gloss! One of my favorite things.
Computer screen wipey things. Lots of things flying around in the air here.
Clorox wipes. So gotta love those.
A good read. If you’ve read it and loved it I’ll take it.
Pens. Yes, I am so much like my Nana. Plus, I can always use them in the restaurant. Would love some Massachusetts pens actually…so I can represen’ y’all
Cheap tanks – old navy, old lady, old gravy!
