Belated Dad's Day

There's one day a year for Mom's and Dad's to be recognized, super special, loved even more than they are on all the other days.  This year I missed Daddy's day by being here in costa Rica.  It didn't feel right.  After all our parents do for us the least we can do is be there on their day, right?
But, sometimes life takes us in different directions at different times.  Luckily my Papa is way cool and isn't holding it against me.  And luckily, my brother Eric is way cool too and took Papa Roget (that's French) out to dinner.

Anyhow, this is a simple post for all the Dad's out there.  Sometimes Moms get more glory (they did actually give birth), but you should know how important you are, too.  Daddy's fix things and make things like nobody else.  They have laps like nobody else and they even let you do their hair with barrettes and ribbons when you're a little girl.

I love you Daddy, Fascha, Papa Raja, more than you know.  Thanks for always making me feel special (and fixing my car:).

Thanks to all the other father figures that often take care of me, too:  Uncle Bobby, Uncle Paul, Uncle Ray, Papa G, Uncles Pat and Jim

Dedicated in memory of Terrence Baker
